Definition

An enemy is an entity that the player encounters in battle in some way or another.  Whether the entity is hostile from the start, or becomes an enemy after a certain interaction, or even, while being hostile from the start, may become playable character, it will find it's place in this list.

This page contains a list of all the enemies encountered in the world of Fear and Hunger.

Members of the Fellowship / The New Gods

Enigmatic creatures who found their way into the dungeons of Fear and Hunger to achieve unknown goals. At the time of making this page (version 4), they are presented as main antagonists, yet only Chambara shows hostility towards the player character, even though no actual battle happens. Their influence on the story is unknown and is rather debatable at the moment.

Legend

EN

EN is short for Enemy. Characters marked as enemies show hostility towards the player, indicated by forcing the game into the battle mode.

PC

PC stands for Playable Character. Characters that are marked as PC are controllable by the player and take part in combat on the players side.

NPC

Also known as Non-Playable Character. Characters marked as NPC are not controllable by the player in any way, but can be interacted with.

VENDOR

Traders or item exchangers. Characters marked as "Vendor" can be interacted with for the purpose of buying, exchanging or selling items. Usually shared with the NPC role.

???

Characters marked as ??? are legacy characters, unimplemented features or ultra-hard to encounter events. Usually, they have traces in the game's core directory but don't show up in the game itself. Still, they have influence on the lore and are briefly mentioned for the purpose of catologisation.
